Geoff Haworth

Geoff has been involved in computer technologies and solution developments since 1963. He was responsible for the development and management of Local Authority computer services and networks through the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1982 he founded Programs at Work Ltd, a software house developing labour management application and Local Authority solutions, which he subsequently sold in 1988.
Geoff co-founded TeleWare in 1991 and continues to be the technical driving force behind TeleWare’s product strategy.
Believing in the power of software and networks as the foundation for many business solutions, including telephony, Geoff founded TeleWare developing software around analogue PBXs, moving to digital interfaces as soon as they were available.
In 2000, Geoff initiated IP telephony development within TeleWare, putting the company and its customers in the forefront of the next generation of pure IP deployments. The TeleWare IP Centrex solution is a software product using open standards and standard PC hardware - requiring no specialist equipment within the network.Geoff is a strong believer in the power of applications software and the value of hosted telephony services to business.
More recently, Geoff has been the main force behind the innovative Private Mobile Networks solutions for Fixed Mobile Convergence. In addition to his passion for TeleWare, Geoff supports the formation and development of a number of technology-based ventures.
